In Antalya, Saturday is market day. Vendors come from all around to sell locally grown fruits and vegetables, nuts, fresh baked bread, honey and dozens of other items. In spite of Antalya being a very modern country in many ways, this market had a real old-world feel to it. According to Dietlinde, it was very similar to many 3rd-world markets she has seen in her travels. It was hot, but was a fun place to shop!
